Nigeria’s Apostolic Church Chooses Pastor Lawrence Oladele to Be Its New National Leader
Pastor Lawrence Oladele has been elected the new National Leader of The Apostolic Church of Nigeria. The election took place on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at the church’s National Headquarters in Lagos.
Pastor Oladele, representing the LAWNA Territory, received 388 votes, while Pastor Jude O. D Ekele received 196 votes. Pastor E. U. Johnson from Akwa Ibom was elected Vice President with 297 votes, defeating Pastor N.E. George, who received 278 votes.
The election, overseen by Chief Returning Officer Pastor David Ajibade, was described by delegates as free and transparent. Congratulations to Pastor Oladele and Pastor Johnson on their new roles.
