Apostle Femi Victor Lazarus Biography – Apostle Femi Victor Lazarus, whose birthdate is November 15th, is the initiator of the Femi Lazarus Ministries Ecumenical, also known as FLAME. In addition, he founded and served as senior pastor of the Ibadan-based Sphere of Light Church. In addition to being the convener of the Campus on Fire Conference, he works in public health. Apostle Femi is multilingual; he is proficient in Yoruba, English, and Hausa and has some knowledge of Igbo.

Following his award, he wrote, “The land I had to wait on God to send help to be able to buy pure water worth 5 naira, the same land where I have had to ‘prayer walk’ from campus to campus gate because there was no 20 naira to take the bus, God brought honour from that same land”.
He considers Pastor Bimbo Animashaun to be his spiritual father since he is a man under authority, and this is demonstrated in his teachings, talks, and behavior. He has previously communicated with Fathers of Faith, including Prophet Michael Ojo Olowere, whom he visited a few days before the Latter Rain Conference hosted by the Sphere of Light Church at Obafemi Awolowo University together with two other ministers, Pastor Daniel Olawande and Pastor Lawrence Oyor. As a student of church history, he recently dispelled popular belief regarding the wife of Apostle Joseph Ayodele Babalola. Pastor Femi Lazarus defended her, stating, “She didn’t maltreat the God’s General as many believe, but locked door against him to rest which the General most times don’t have because of a robust schedule of programs and ministrations.”
The Sphere of Light Church, founded by Apostle Femi Lazarus, includes branches in Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, and Ile-Ife. The Sphere of Light Church was founded in Ife, Osun State, and on January 19, 2020, the founders formally inaugurated a second branch of the church in Ibadan, following a divine directive to relocate. In addition to its primary churches, the Sphere of Light Church also manages the LA Church, a student-focused church with branches at the Universities of Ibadan and Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, respectively. The number of both real and virtual members of the Sphere of Light Church is still rising. There are concrete testimonials in the Church; one prominent example is the healing of an epileptic Muslim woman.
In addition to being a public health professional, Apostle Femi Lazarus hosts the Campus on Fire Conference, which is held in higher education institutions across Nigeria.
