Biography of Apostle Joshua Selman

Early Life and Background

Joshua Selman Nimmak was born on June 25, 1980, in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. He hails from Langtang in Jos, Plateau state. Growing up in a devout Christian family, Selman developed a deep-rooted passion for spiritual matters from an early age. His exposure to Christian teachings and practices laid the foundation for his future ministry.   

Selman attended Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in Zaria, where he pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. During his university years, he began to actively engage in spiritual activities, participating in student fellowships and campus evangelism. These experiences further nurtured his calling to serve God and minister to others.

Ministry

Selman’s journey into full-time ministry began during his university days when he started preaching to student congregations alongside friends at various gatherings. His ability to connect with young people and deliver powerful messages resonated with his audience. Recognizing his unique gift, Selman felt compelled to pursue ministry beyond his student days.

In March 2011, Selman founded Eternity Network International (ENI), a Christian ministry based in Zaria, Kaduna State. ENI, often referred to as Koinonia, is dedicated to impacting lives through worship, prayer, and the study of God’s Word. Under Selman’s leadership, Koinonia has grown into a significant spiritual movement, attracting thousands of followers both locally and internationally.

Koinonia Abuja is a local branch of the international ministry Eternity Network International, also known as Koinonia Global. Founded in Abuja, Nigeria, on Sunday, February 28, 2021, the renowned Apostle Joshua Selman Nimmak delivered the ministry’s inaugural teaching.

Selman’s preaching style is characterized by his ability to deliver profound spiritual insights in a relatable and engaging manner. His messages often focus on the power of God’s Word, the importance of spiritual intimacy, and the pursuit of a deeper relationship with Christ.
