Who is Eucharia Anunobi?

Eucharia Anunobi is a seasoned Nigerian preacher, producer, and actress who was born on May 27, 1965. Her performance in the film Abuja Connection is what made her most famous. She received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Film or TV Series at the 2020 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.

Early Life & Education

After completing her elementary and secondary schooling in Owerri, Imo State, Southeast Nigeria, Anunobi continued her study at the Institute of Management Technology, Enugu, where she earned a National Diploma in Mass Communication. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where she studied English language.

Career

Anunobi first gained notoriety in 1996 for her part in the television series Glamour Girls II. Since then, she has starred in more than 90 films, such as Abuja Connection and Letters to a Stranger. At the moment, she works as an evangelist at a church in Lagos State’s Egbeda. On August 22, 2017, Anunobi lost her only son Raymond Ekwu, whom she referred to as her dearest friend, due to difficulties brought on by sickle cell anemia. He was fifteen years old. She believes that having sex before to marriage is crucial.

Personal Life

Raymond Ekwu is the son of Eucharia Anunobi and Charles Ekwu, who were married in 2000. After six years of marriage, they got divorced. In 2017, at the age of 15, Raymond passed away from sickle cell problems. In 2010, after Anunobi and Charles divorced, the actress sued him for 100 million naira.

Felix, Anubobi’s father, passed away in 2015 following a brief illness.
