Nicholas Duncan-Williams Biography
Nicholas Duncan-Williams is a Ghanaian charismatic pioneer who serves as the presiding archbishop and general overseer of the Accra-based Action Chapel International (ACI) ministry. He is the originator of the Charismatic Movement, which began in Ghana and other regions of West Africa 20 years ago.
CAFM is a multi-location church with approximately 2000 affiliates and 250 branch congregations across North America, Europe, and Africa. He was the first non-American to lead the pre-inauguration prayer for the United States President-elect and Vice-President-elect.
Career
Duncan-Williams founded and leads Prayer Summit International (PSI). Duncan-Williams was designated one of “The 100 Most Influential Africans” by New African Magazine in 2017. He was the first non-American to lead the national anthem.
“During the inauguration, he became the first non-American to conduct the prayer for the incoming President and Vice President of the United States. The Archbishop of Canterbury and his wife, Lady Rosa Whitaker, have been dubbed one of Africa’s power couples.
The Dominion University
Duncan-Williams is the founder of Dominion University, which is situated in Ghana, and intends to develop a new generation of leaders in ministry, government, and business.
