Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo Biography

Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, who was born in Kwara State, Nigeria, on January 1st, 1976, is the founder and senior pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), which has worship centers all over the country. Known by many as Pastor B, he is a well-liked and respected global preacher of the word of God.

He received his elementary, high, and initial tertiary education at the University of Ilorin while growing up in the state of Kwara. Regretfully, he engaged in cult-related activities on campus and was rusticated from the University of Ilorin when he was in the 300 level. Following the university’s denial that Pastor Biodun had ever attended, a video of him became viral on social media in 2017. He was reportedly expelled from his studies after confirming in a later interview that he had previously served as the senior priest of the Black Axe Fraternity. Afterwards, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo returned to school and earned his degree from the University of Benin.

With just four pastors and a tiny congregation, Pastor Biodun’s COZA began as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Ilorin, Kwara State in 1999. Since then, the church has expanded into a megachurch with more than 20,000 members and a thriving online community. Following its founding, the church opened four more campuses: Lagos in 2012, Port Harcourt in 2016, Abuja in 2008, and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates in 2017. The church also produced the smash song “Raba Raba Eh,” which helped the Gratitude Music Band win the UK Gospel Touch Music competition.

Pastor Biodun is a gifted musician and singer-songwriter who possesses several talents. His mission is to “raise a takeover generation” and he feels that Christians should be able to impact society with kingdom ideals. The COZA ministry is adamant about adhering to the maxim, “Build the people, and the people will build the organization.”

Pastor Modele Fatoyinbo, a Co-Senior Pastor of COZA, and Pastor Biodun, also known as Pastor B, are blissfully married. Together, they have three beautiful children. January 29th marked their wedding day. He works alongside his devoted spouse, Mummy D, Pastor Modele Fatoyinbo, who oversees the COZA headquarters in Abuja.
