Dr. Stephen Adegbite, the Bishop of the Methodist Church of Lagos and Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Lagos chapter, has called on Nigerians to continue praying for the government of President Bola Tinubu.
Dr. Stephen Adegbite urged Christians all around the country to keep praying for President Bola Tinubu and his government.
Speaking to Christians, Dr. Adegbite said;
“There’s an urgent need for the Church to be one; the nation is one, and President Bola Tinubu is doing a great job.
The churches are doing a great job praying for him; they need to continue in their prayers…”
By reaffirming that the C&S Church in Nigeria will, by God’s grace, continue to flourish and advance through its centennial and beyond, he also underlined the significance of unity within the Christian body.
Dr. Adegbite reaffirmed the appeal for Christian unity and congratulated Dr. Solomon Adegboyega Alao, the Supreme Head of the C&S Unification, for leading the church through this significant event.
