At Times Square Church, helping the underprivileged, hungry, penniless, and addicted is a top priority.

Conlon summoned the churches of New York City to gather at Times Square for an hour of prayer in 2006. This led to the creation of Prayer in the Square and the gathering of Christians on Broadway from every denomination. From 50,000 in 2009, the prayer gathering increased to 80,000 in person and 17.1 million online by 2021. Mayor Michael Bloomberg was present during this event, which was organized by Conlon and the Times Square Church choir, as he had declared Sunday to be Prayer in the Square Day.

Conlon wrote “For Pastors Only” in 2010 as a response to several inquiries he had from pastors looking for spiritual fathering. More than 5,000 pastors worldwide already use this online resource, which broadcasts biweekly devotionals that are recorded by Conlon and an advisory board.
