One of Nigeria’s rapidly emerging gospel music ministers, Ebuka Songs, has been granted Honorary Citizenship of the State of Georgia, USA, marking a significant milestone for Nigerian gospel music.
At the Pray and Worship Homecoming event in Lagos, where worshippers gathered for a potent evening of praise, worship, and revival, the honor was formally given out.
Georgia’s authorities have signed and sealed the honor, which recognizes Ebuka Songs’ significant influence on the gospel music scene worldwide, his ministry of worship, and his contributions to using music to inspire faith.
Speaking after receiving the award, Ebuka Songs thanked God, his supporters, and the State of Georgia for acknowledging his work, calling the occasion a testament to what God can accomplish when we dedicate our gifts to His glory. Ebuka Songs’s award of honorary citizenship further solidifies his position as one of the leading voices in gospel music, joining a select group of Nigerian musicians whose influence has been officially acknowledged outside of their nation’s borders.
