Trump’s inauguration: Kumuyi prays that God will purge His church
Pastor William Kumuyi, General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, was among a distinguished group of religious leaders who attended a special prayer service held in the United States ahead of the recent presidential inauguration.
The service, which gathered hundreds of pastors from around the world, took place on January 19th.
Pastor Kumuyi, recognized as a former mathematics professor and the leader of one of the world’s largest churches, was invited to offer a prayer for the nation and its incoming president.
Addressing the congregation, Pastor Kumuyi began his prayer by expressing gratitude for the church in America, emphasizing its enduring strength as founded upon the rock of Christ.
He then offered a specific prayer for the new president, asking for divine wisdom and for the church to play a vital role in upholding truth and unity within the nation.
Pastor Kumuyi concluded his prayer with a plea for God’s revival and the strengthening of the church’s commitment to holiness and righteousness.
