Russian bombs are still hitting Kyiv; most recently, one of them struck a Pentecostal church structure, killing churchgoers.

U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened to impose taxes on Russian consumers unless Russian President Vladimir Putin resolves the current conflict.

A Russian drone was said to have approached the Emmanuel Church property in Kyiv on Sunday morning, March 23. Alexandra, her husband Oleksandr, and their five-year-old daughter Nicole were living in a modular home when it exploded, 20 meters away. Her husband and daughter did not survive, but Alexandra did.

One of the church pastors, Pasha Tupchyk, clarified that the house is utilized for, “For people who need sleep and to stay in church. It’s for ministry and something like that. (There was) an explosion, big explosion (that) damaged this house in seconds.”

According to Pastor Tupchyk, prayer is necessary for Alexandra’s healing. He stated, “Pray, please for our church, for our people. Because our people still live in Kyiv. Every day we have alarm and alarm. We (are) strong (and) can fight.”

Emmanuel Church members want the war with Russia to end, but they don’t expect accords reached by governments to bring about a sustainable peace.

“We believe real peace comes only through Jesus Christ,” explained Pastor Tupchyk. “It’s our main position, and this peace come(s) for us every day and that’s why we continue to serve and share our gospel and help the people.”
