In northeast Philadelphia on Friday night, a tiny medical transport plane crashed into multiple buildings, setting houses and cars on fire and hurting persons on the ground. According to Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, the aircraft was carrying four crew members, a child patient, and an escort on a medical transport operation.
Witnesses described a chaotic scene that included burning structures and injured people. Videos of the airliner rapidly descending before a massive flame erupted are making the rounds on the internet. Residents gathered on streets littered with burning rubble and airplane wreckage as emergency personnel hurried to the disaster scene.
