The popular gospel singer Mercy Chinwo from Nigeria and her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, have welcomed a new baby into their family.
The pair, who were married in August 2022, thanked God for His faithfulness while sharing the wonderful news with their supporters.
Mercy exuded happiness as she welcomed this new phase of her parenthood journey. Mercy is well-known for her stirring praise songs, including Confidence and Excess Love.
“God has done it again,” the couple shared in a joint statement. “Our hearts are full of gratitude for this precious gift.”
Mercy Chinwo posted the news on her Instagram page with the following caption:
“The Lord has done it again! He has added to our joy… multiplied our laughter, and blessed us with the precious gift of a second baby.
“We declare His name will be lifted in our lineage forever. Generations from us will walk in His light. Through us, many will be blessed, and the nations will call us blessed.
“To the glory of God… Welcome, our precious gift.”
In solidarity with the family, fans and other gospel musicians have showered social media with congrats.
This child is the couple’s second, solidifying what many have referred to as a “season of double blessings” for the well-known singer and her spouse.
