“This song was written in 2023 during a trying time filled with trials and tribulations. I faced near-death experiences and suffered grave health challenges. Despite it all, the Lord was faithful and He protected me from harm.

“Amidst the storms, He gave me solace and peace. I am still here because the Lord showed me mercy.

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23)
