Born on December 4, 1982, Nick Vujicic is a Serbian-born Australian-American Christian evangelist and motivational speaker. Tetra-amelia syndrome, which is characterized by the lack of limbs and legs, is what Vujicic has.
Biography of Nick Vujicic
Dušanka and Borislav Vujičić, Serbian refugees from Yugoslavia, welcomed Nick Vujicic into the world in 1982 in Melbourne, Australia. In his early years, he was brought up as a Serbian Orthodox child, but his family eventually became Protestant. The Apostolic Christian Church is where Vujicic’s father serves as a pastor. Tetra-amelia syndrome, an uncommon condition marked by the loss of limbs and legs, was present in Vujicic at birth.
Vujicic’s memoirs claims that his mother fled the hospital with her husband after he was born, refusing to see or hug him. Because of his health issue, he was teased at school. Vujicic once tried drowning himself in a bathtub to end his life, but he was rescued. Vujicic’s parents “raised him to look at the bright side of life” despite their first struggles with grief and confusion over his condition.
He can’t be considered legless even if he has no arms at all because he has one partially formed foot with two originally fused toes. To enable him to utilize his toes like fingers, a procedure was done to separate them. “Chicken drumstick” is how Vujicic describes this foot. His “universal limb” is this foot, which he utilizes for walking, jumping, writing, typing, swimming, surfing, and skateboarding.
Nick Vujicic began making motivational speeches at school and church-sponsored events when he was seventeen years old.
At the age of 21, Vujicic earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Griffith University, where he double majored in accounting and financial planning.
Life Without Limbs
Nick Vujicic is an evangelist and a Christian. He talks about his faith in Jesus Christ while traveling. Life Without Limbs is the name of his ministry. The ministry’s headquarters were in southern California as of 2008.
In 2008, Vujicic made an appearance on the ABC television program 20/20.
The Butterfly Circus (2009) is a short film in which Vujicic starred. For his leading role, he won Best Actor in a Short Film at the 2010 Method Fest Independent Film Festival.

Nick Vujicic is against the practice of abortion. He was a co-founder of ProLife Bank in 2021.
“Champions for the Brokenhearted” is a new ministry effort that Vujicic started in 2022. To “support particular disaffected groups in need” is the project’s stated objective.
Nick Vujicic Personal Life
On February 12, 2012, Nick Vujicic married Kanae Miyahara. Vujicic and his spouse had two sons and two daughters as of 2017. The family lives in Texas’ Collin County.
Vujicic, who is limbless, uses his toes to type 43 words per minute on a computer, which is somewhat faster than the average for non-professional typists.
