On Sunday, August 24, 2025, the Oba Likure of Erinburo Ijesha, in partnership with the RCCG Higher Ground Parish, Erinburo, cordially welcomed Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), and his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, to dedicate the parish’s recently constructed church auditorium. It was a momentous and inspirational occasion.
Dignitaries, traditional leaders, community leaders, clergy, and worshippers from all over the world came to watch the historic event.
Pastor Adeboye prayed for the land, the people, and Erinburo Ijesha’s leadership before formally dedicating the new church edifice, which he characterized as a symbol of faith and unity.
The General Overseer and his wife’s visit was a blessing to the church and the entire Erinburo community, the Oba Likure said in his remarks, and he was deeply grateful for their presence.
He also promised to keep supporting the town’s progress and the spread of the gospel.
In his speech, Pastor Adeboye stressed the value of dedicating places of worship to God and exhorted believers to continue being faithful in their faith, prayer, and community service.
Pastor Folu Adeboye, his wife, also urged the congregation to embrace godly living and make constructive contributions to society, especially among women and young people.
Worship, gratitude, cultural exhibits, and prayers for Nigeria were all part of the ceremony.
The occasion will be regarded as a turning point in Erinburo Ijesha’s history and a day of immense spiritual significance.
