Topic: Fail Forward!!!
If you cannot define your reason for failing, failure will continually persist in everything you do.
As a student, business owner, pastor, or whatever career path you’ve chosen, it is your duty to know why certain things are not falling in place for you.
Your ability to investigate your reasons for failure is what gives you an opportunity to curb it.
What you cannot explain or shed more light on remains a mystery forever on the tablet of your heart.
Hear me, there cannot be light at the end of the tunnel without illumination in view.
Having provided a preamble to the subject, let me expatiate more for better understanding.
Failure is an intricate part of human existence, if you haven’t failed in life before, it is an indication that you’ve been doing the same thing repeatedly.
When you begin to change the narrative and try something different, perfection will not be established immediately.
In other words, a new innovation or invention doesn’t come to the limelight easily without any mistake or error happening either once, twice, or more.
Most successful innovators, creators, and inventors got it right after several attempts of failing.
If you are not willing to fail in anything, the likelihood that you will succeed in that same thing is zero.
Most successful people lost a lot of things; money, people, friend, and so on before they break even.
From research and statistics, it’s been said that most unsuccessful people never lost anything and that’s why they remain poverty-stricken.
Please understand that failing forward is the only way to experience success in any endeavor.
By that I mean, you understand perfectly well the major causes of the things that led to your failure and you are ready to give it a second chance.
Failing forward means you are confident and courageous enough to learn from your setback with a view to giving it a befitting outlook.
Every rising star was once a falling star, every celebrated person was once a nobody, and every icon was once a mere symbol.
As long as you are not ready to have an encounter with failure, don’t dream of becoming successful in whatever you do.
In closing, it is important you understand that no one gets it right at the beginning, and that’s why we all keep learning our craft every day.
If you believe or think failure isn’t part of human existence, ask the likes of great men like Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, Michael Faraday, the Wright Brothers, Aliko Dangote, Pastor Adeboye, Bishop Oyedepo, to mention but a few.
Don’t allow anyone to brainwash you, getting to the peak of success requires several failed attempts of failing and that is why I believe that no one gets to the top without going through the burning fire.
Get prepared to fail, but don’t hang your boot there, rather make more effort to fail forward because that’s where your success will be seen, appreciated, and celebrated.
Note, failing forward is the pathway to succeeding in anything.
