Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, the founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated, also called Christ Embassy, has warned Christians not to emulate or emulate the lifestyles of people who do not follow God’s teachings.
The biblical teaching, “Don’t envy Godless men, and don’t enjoy their company,” was used by Pastor Chris when discussing the significance of leading a consecrated life.
He underlined that although power and success in the material world could seem alluring, they frequently came at the expense of spiritual purity.
“Christians must guard their hearts against the temptation to covet the lifestyles of people who do not honor God,” Pastor Chris explained.
“True success is not measured by material possessions or social recognition, but by the impact of a life lived in obedience to the Word of God.”
He added that a believer’s faith and convictions might be progressively weakened by spending time with those who disrespect spiritual ideals.
Rather, he urged Christians to act as exemplary figures in their communities and to surround themselves with spiritual influences.
