The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A. Adeboye, has given the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex (OAUTHC) Wesley Guild in Ilesa, Osun State, a cutting-edge dialysis facility.
As the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, or OAUTHC, celebrated its golden jubilee anniversary, the priest donated the dialysis center.
One water reverse osmosis purification system, three dialysis machines and beds, a 30 KVA generator, and air conditioners were all included in the Dialysis Center’s equipment.
Pastor E.A. Adeboye, who was represented by Pastor Funso Odesola, said that political leaders are spending more money on medical care abroad than they are on Nigerian healthcare.
He said, “Pastor E A Adeboye is showing an example of what the government should be doing.
“We know that there are a lot of projects in the hands of the government but it’s a shame that even the people who are making policies cannot be treated in the hospital in their own country and Baba G O has shown an example of what can be done to the people.
“So the government and people in governance should follow his example. What we have, let’s improve it. I think, I guess and I know it’s a shame for an average Nigerians including those making the rules not to be able to be treated in their own hospitals.”
This incredible deed of generosity is a brilliant illustration of the strength of empathy and camaraderie. It is evident that Pastor Adeboye’s generosity will leave a lasting impact on the area once the dialysis center starts to serve the neighborhood.
