Pastor Samuel Olatunji, Pro-Chancellor of Trinity University, celebrated his 70th birthday with family, church officials, and congregation members at the RCCG Dominion Sanctuary in Ogba, Ikeja, in a poignant thanksgiving service.
The Redeemed Christian Church of God’s (RCCG) General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, celebrated Pastor Samuel Olatunji’s 70th birthday.
In their united address, they prayed for abundant grace, a long life, and ongoing service in God’s vineyard, describing him as a life opened as a gateway through which many have come to know the Lord Jesus Christ.
Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church Worldwide and his spouse then offered their own commendation.
Pastor Samuel Olatunji was praised for being a dependable servant of God whose life exemplifies God’s grace.
They prayed that his influence would continue to increase, his family and health would prosper, and his spiritual light would shine stronger.
Along with religious dignitaries, traditional rulers and leaders in education were also drawn to the event. The Alaran of Arandun in Kwara State, Oba Ibikunle Adekanye, praised Pastor Olatunji’s dedication to youth empowerment and his unflinching moral character.
His innovative work through the Trinity Foundation, which has sparked the development of schools and the institution itself, has brought about educational and social change, was highlighted by Trinity institution’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor C.O.O. Kolawole, and Director of Education, Mrs. O.R. Adeyemo.
