RCCG Stands Firm on Justice for Adeboye, Even as He Seeks SeaKing’s Release

Despite Pastor Enoch Adeboye‘s call for the release of TikToker Olumide Ogunsanwo (Seaking303), who called the RCCG General Overseer “very stupid and foolish” in a viral video, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has stated that due process must be followed. Ogunsanwo’s video criticized Pastor Adeboye for a 100-day fast imposed on his congregation.

Pastor Adeboye reportedly called for Seaking’s release, claiming it fulfilled a prophecy. However, the RCCG has contradicted this request, insisting the law take its course.  

The RCCG statement emphasized the need for respectful discourse and cautioned against cyberbullying and inappropriate commentary directed at Pastor Adeboye, the church, and the wider Christian community. They also stressed the importance of respecting spiritual leaders. The RCCG maintains its demand for justice, allowing the legal system to proceed while Pastor Adeboye advocates for leniency.
