Transformation today: A Daily Devotional With Victor Adeyemi
Topic: Trust God’s Ability
“The LORD who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine…” 1 Samuel 17:37 (ESV)
The pathway to achieving the impossible is not always a smooth one. Sometimes you will face giants. The giants may be in the very place God is taking you to. The fact that you encounter giants does not negate the efficacy of His promise to you.
God promised the children of Israel that He would take them to a land flowing with milk and honey. When Moses sent the 10 spies to survey the land, 8 of them chose to focus their attention on the giants they saw there. They began to doubt God’s ability to fulfill His word to them.
When you are confronted with a giant, don’t look at how big the giant is. Focus instead on the greatness of your God. He is the God that moves mountains. If He caused David to triumph over Goliath, then you too will triumph over every giant that comes your way.
Confession – I trust God’s ability to see me through every challenging situation. His ability, I am able to achieve the impossible. In Christ, I am more than a conqueror. Halleluyah!
