Transformation Today: A Daily Devotional With Victor Adeyemi
Topic: He Satisfies My Soul
“For he satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness.” Psalm 107:9 (NKJV)
There are times that what we expect from human beings are things only God can give. No matter how wonderful your spouses, family, and friends are, none of them can meet your deepest need. Your soul may want human beings to relate with but your spirit wants to commune with God.
Communion means to be one with or to be part of or to share together. It is a fellowship. It is the uniting of two people together into one. Spiritually, we were not made to be alone. It was not good for Adam to be alone physically but spiritually, he was not alone. He had a continuous fellowship with the spirit of God. Everybody needs that constant, continuous and ceaseless fellowship.
The Holy Spirit gives us access to intimacy with God. He is always there. He wants to participate in your life, even in the minute things. He wants to help you in every area of your life. If you will learn to talk to Him all the time, you will see better results in your life.
God abides with me, and I in Him.
