Women of Destiny Conference 2019 – Daystar
The annual conference tagged “Women of Destiny” is coming up again at Daystar Christian Center. It is a gathering for women to come and learn at the feet of the Master through seasoned teachers of the Word.
This year’s theme is “Light“. It is time for God’s girls to walk in the Light of what God has prepared for them.
This year, the conference will be featuring:
NIKE ADEYEMI (Convener and Speaker)
Nike Adeyemi is the founder of “The Real Women Association” located in Lagos, Nigeria. The association is dedicated to healing and empowering women and children through peace Villa shelter/rehab center for women and the Love Home Orphanage. Several women have gone from the streets to earning college degrees and own their businesses through the platform. They have rescued children and given them hope for a brighter future.
She is the host of “Real Woman with Nike Adeyemi” a global TV broadcast where she shares wisdom on various issues of life.
Nike is the Principal Consultant at “Gabriel and Princess Limited”, a training and consulting company that specializes in work-life balance.
She is a Fellow of the Institute of Researchers and Administrators of Nigeria and a member of the Nigerian Institue of Social Workers among others. She served on the board of many other non-profit and profit organizations, a recipient of many awards.
Alongside her husband, Sam Adeyemi, she had over twenty years of leadership and administrative skills in building a church dedicated to raising role models in society.
She had an MSc in Architecture from Obafemi Awolowo, Nigeria University, and an MBA from Business School Netherlands. Nike also had training in Strategic Perspectives for Non-Profit Management at Harvard Business School.
She is a dedicated mother of three, cares for many, and authored several books on different issues of life.
KIMBERLY JONES-POTHIER (Speaker)
She is known as Real Talk Kim. She is a wife, mother, pastor, entrepreneur, best-selling author, entertainer, and worshiper.
Kim and her husband Mark Pothier are the Senior Pastors at Church of the Harvest in Fayetteville, Georgia, and have four sons.
She is a human rights advocate with a passion for giving and she is a lover of the Holy Spirit and helping many to know Him.
Kim is an advocate partner with Rock Paper Scissors Foundation, a non-profitable organization, that helps in healing and giving voices to those who have been silenced from all forms of abuse and human trafficking.
Pastor Kim has been featured on The Doctor Oz Show, Oxygen’s Network Series’ Preachers of Atlanta, and many more.
She is God’s redemption plan personified.
TOYIN POJU-OYEMADE (Speaker)
She is the wife of the Senior Pastor of Covenant Christian Centre, convener of West African Faith Believers Convention (WAFBEC), and relationship expert, Poju Oyemade.
Toyin is a Content Producer and Media Entrepreneur who was involved in the production of leading shows like Moments with Mo, NdaniTv, and a host of documentaries.
She was nominated for the best documentary at the 2014 Abuja International Film Festival for her documentary film “Unbroken: The John Sumonu Story”.
She is a New York Academy graduate and also an ambassador of the National Studnet Summit.
TOPE ALABI (Music Minister)
She is popularly known as Ore ti o common is a Nigerian gospel singer, film music composer, and actress. She has produced several songs over the years and she currently released the following;

MERCY CHINWO (Music Minister)
she is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and Actress. Mercy first came into the limelight after winning the Etisalat and Pepsi sponsored Nigerian Idol Season 2 in 2012. Her musical career started by lending her vocals to musical projects by Christian artists such as Joe Praize, Chris Morgan, and many more.
Ever since she started her career as an artist, Mercy has released many songs that have blessed lives.
