The popular Afrobeats artist from Nigeria, Ruger, has revealed a touching account of his early career.
Ruger disclosed in a recent interview with VJ Adams that he gave his church his first five hundred thousand dollars.
Intriguingly, he didn’t use the funds for personal benefit, and within a year, his next payment was $1 million, followed by a massive increase in earnings that came in other millions.
“I remember my first paycheck was 500k, and I gave it all to the church. It wasn’t about the money,” He said
“It was about giving back to God. And you know what? The next paycheck was 1 million, and after that, it just kept growing.” he said.
Ruger’s financial journey took off swiftly. He did concede, though, that money alters people and affects how they deal with obstacles in life.
“Money changes everybody; don’t mind what others say,” he concluded.
