Welcome to Christian Diet

Welcome. You have found a place built for believers who are hungry — not for bread alone, but for every word that proceeds from the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4). Christian Diet is a faith-driven blog dedicated to nourishing your spiritual life with Biblical truth, Christian history, inspiring biographies, and practical lifestyle guidance rooted in the Word of God.

Whether you are a long-time believer seeking deeper understanding, a new Christian finding your footing in the faith, or simply someone searching for honest, Spirit-led content in a world full of noise — this blog was created with you in mind.

Who Is Behind Christian Diet?

My name is Hezekiah, and I am the founder, lead writer, and researcher behind Christian Diet.

I am a Christian writer and researcher with a deep passion for the intersection of faith, history, and everyday life. My journey with God has taken me through seasons of searching, studying, and sitting with the Scriptures — and through it all, one thing has remained constant: the belief that the Word of God is alive, relevant, and powerful for every generation.

I started Christian Diet because I noticed a gap — a need for Christian content that is both spiritually grounded and intellectually honest. Content that does not water down the Gospel, but also does not ignore the real questions believers face in the 21st century. Content that honours the rich heritage of Christian faith — from the early church fathers to African Christian leaders to modern-day ministers — and makes that heritage accessible to everyone.

As a researcher, I take accuracy seriously. Every article on this blog is written after careful study of Scripture, historical records, and credible Christian scholarship. My goal is never to entertain you with half-truths, but to feed you with content that will strengthen your walk with God.

Our Mission

The mission of Christian Diet is simple:

“To provide every Christian — regardless of background, denomination, or geography — with a steady, trustworthy diet of Biblical knowledge, Christian history, and faith-based guidance that builds a stronger, more informed, and more Spirit-led life.”

We serve Christians across Nigeria, Africa, and the entire English-speaking world. Whether you are in Lagos or London, Accra or Atlanta, the truths of God’s Word are the same — and Christian Diet is your companion in exploring them.

What We Cover on Christian Diet

Every article on this blog falls under one of our core content pillars — each one chosen because it feeds a specific spiritual hunger:

  • Christian Lifestyle: Practical, Biblical guidance for navigating everyday life as a believer — relationships, work, mental health, finances, and more. We ask the hard questions and look to Scripture for the answers.
  • Christian Biographies: The lives of the men and women of faith who shaped Christian history deserve to be known. From early church figures to modern-day pastors and ministers, we tell their stories with depth and honesty.
  • News & Events: We report on significant developments in the Christian world — from church leadership stories to events shaping global Christianity — with fairness and Biblical discernment.
  • Books: We curate and review the best Christian books across theology, prayer, ministry, spiritual growth, and more, helping you build a library that will transform your faith.
  • Lyrics & Worship: Worship is the language of the believer’s heart. We share lyrics, devotionals, and reflections on the songs that have carried generations of Christians through triumph and trial.

What We Believe

Christian Diet is unapologetically Christ-centered. We believe:

  • The Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God and the ultimate standard for all matters of faith and life.
  • Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the only Saviour of humanity, and the head of the Church.
  • Every believer — regardless of denomination, ethnicity, or nationality — is part of one Body of Christ.
  • Sound doctrine and spiritual depth are not at odds with modern, accessible writing.
  • Truth, expressed with love, is the most powerful force a Christian writer can offer the world.

Why Trust Christian Diet?

In an era of clickbait headlines and shallow spiritual content, Christian Diet is committed to a higher standard. Here is what you can always expect from us:

  • Scripture First: Every claim we make about faith and Christian living is rooted in the Bible. We do not substitute popular opinion for Biblical truth.
  • Thorough Research: Our biography and historical content is sourced from credible Christian scholarship, church records, and verified accounts — not recycled blog posts.
  • Balanced Perspective: We serve Christians across many traditions and denominations. We write with respect for the full breadth of the Body of Christ.
  • No Sensationalism: We do not chase viral controversy. If we cannot verify it, we do not publish it.

A Personal Word from Hezekiah

If you have found your way to this page, I want you to know — this blog exists because of a genuine love for God, for His Word, and for His people. I write not as someone who has arrived, but as a fellow believer on the journey, committed to growing and helping others grow.

I believe that what you feed your mind matters as much as what you feed your body. A Christian who is well-fed on the Word, on Church history, on the testimonies of the saints, and on sound Biblical teaching is a Christian equipped to stand firm in any season.

That is what Christian Diet is here to do. Welcome to the table.

In His service,

Hezekiah
