Biography of Bishop David Abioye

Early Life and Education

Born on March 11, 1961, in Erin Ile, Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State, Nigeria, Bishop David Olatunji Abioye is a prominent figure in the Nigerian Christian community. Raised in a devout Christian family, he developed a deep-rooted faith from a young age.

After completing his secondary education, Abioye pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ilorin. His academic journey laid the foundation for a successful engineering career, but his spiritual calling would ultimately shape his life’s purpose.

While working as a lecturer at Open Cast Polytechnic, Auchi, in 1985, Abioye’s life took an unexpected turn. He served as the Senior Pastor of the Abuja church, Living Faith Church, Goshen City, a congregation of over 30,000 worshippers.
