On June 2nd, Bakare Boluwatife Oluwatobi, also referred to as BBO, was born. He is a gifted musician who excels as a worship leader, songwriter, and gospel music minister. He is from Ijebu, Ogun State, Nigeria.
After attending Ecwa N/P School, Boluwatife continued his study at Success International. Later, he attended Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) to further his education.
Boluwatife first pursued interests in acting and MCing before realizing his love for worship during the 2020 epidemic. Despite his financial difficulties, he turned to prayer for comfort, spending three days in a transforming session atop a Prayer Mountain in Ibadan.
Boluwatife’s faith was reinforced by a significant experience during this journey, which resulted in an unanticipated opportunity when Woli Arole asked him to a worship session. He joined Arole despite his initial reluctance, and with his grandmother’s help, he uploaded a clip of his worship session called “Igbatoba Tewalorun, You are the Most High,” which surprisingly went viral.
This event shaped Boluwatife’s future as a gospel music pastor by demonstrating his tenacity and the strength of his newly discovered love for worship.
On April 3, 2024, Bakare Boluwatife Oluwatobi, or BBO, traveled to the UK for the first time. Following his joyful announcement of his trip to the UK on social media, BBO’s fans celebrated in droves.
