We have gathered lists of Books by A. W. Tozer that a believer must read in his faith journey. American Christian pastor, writer, magazine editor, and spiritual guide Aiden Wilson Tozer was born on April 21, 1897, and died on May 12, 1963. Wheaton and Houghton Colleges awarded him honorary doctorates in recognition of his achievements.
Tozer was from La Jose, a small farming town in Western Pennsylvania. While commuting home from his job at a tire shop in Akron, Ohio, he heard a street preacher say, “If you don’t know how to be saved… just call on God, saying, ‘Lord, be merciful to me a sinner.'” This led to his conversion to Christianity as a teenager. When he got home, he went up into the attic and followed the preacher’s instructions.
