DEITRICK HADDON BIOGRAPHY
Deitrick Vaughn Haddon is an American Gospel music minister, songwriter, music producer, and actor. He is one of the cast members in Oxygen’s reality television show Preachers of L.A.
EARLY LIFE AND MINISTRY
Haddon was born on the 17 of May 1973 in Detroit, Michigan, USA.
He started his solo career as a Christian R & B vocalist in 2002 with the Lost & Found on Tyscot/Verity. The song was ranked No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Charts and was tagged as the “sinner’s prayer” which was played extensively on gospel and mainstream R&B radio stations.
He made an uncommon move to market a gospel album when he made an appearance on the long-running syndicated series Soul Train.
On October 10, 2006, “7 Days” was released and was produced entirely by R&B producers Tim & Bob.
He and his brother produced an album titled “Brand New Day” for veteran Gospel minister Vanessa Bell Armstrong. Gospel Music Workshop of America Excellence Awards for “New Artist of the Year – Urban Contemporary” and “Album of the Year – Urban Contemporary” were won by Haddon & Voices of Unity’s Live the Life.
He released the album called “Revealed” on September 2, 2008, and the album includes hits like “Love Him Like I Do” featuring Mary Mary and Ruben Studdard. His first appearance in a film came on the 27 of July 2010 in a movie called “Blessed and Cursed”.
“Church on the Moon” his fifth album was released on January 25, 2012, via Verity Records. The song was ranked No. 1 on the Billboards Top Gospel charts and No. 65 on the Billboard 200.
He was featured as Clarence Burnett in the TV One original summer movie Sins of the Father.

MARITAL AND RELATIONSHIP STATUS
He got married to Damita Chandler in 1996. The couple co-pastored at Deitrick’s father founded church – Kingdom Culture Church of Detroit. They were married for 15 years before they were divorced in 2011.
Haddon is presently married to Dominique Haddon and they have two daughters and a son. The couple is the founder and senior pastor of Hill City Church, Los Angeles.
