Pastor Poju Oyemade is the Senior Pastor and Founder of The Covenant Christian Nation which was formerly known as The Covenant Christian Centre.
The ministry is one of the ever-growing churches in the nation and beyond with many social outreaches.
Pastor Poju Oyemade has been a faithful servant for 25years teaching Biblical truth for everyday living.
EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND
He was born on May 8th, 1968. He attended International School Ibadan (ISI) and proceeded to obtain a Bachelor of Science – Applied Physics/Electronics from the University of Lagos.
MINISTRY
He was called into the ministry as an undergraduate at the University of Lagos. And he was ordained as a minister by the founder and senior past of Living Faith Ministries Worldwide (Winners Chapel) – Bishop David Oyedepo.
His practicality in the way he teaches distinguishes him. They are Biblical truths that can make believers live lives daily and excellently.
Pastor Poju Oyemade is the host for many summits and seminars such as Faith Seminars, Singles’ Summits, Financial and Business Seminars. He is also the convener of an Annual Conference known as WAFBEC (The West Africa Faith Believers Convention). He is dedicated to teaching the truths of God’s Word and how to apply them to areas of concern to yield a godly result for all participants.

COVENANTS CHRISTIAN NATION
He founded The Covenant Christian Centre now The Covenant Christian Nation on March 30th, 1994. Pastor Poju is the senior pastor of the church and it is located in Lagos. They hold four different Sunday Services at different locations. Two of the services holds at The Covenant Place, Iganmu. Another one takes place at Yaba Centre while Family Service takes place in Lekki at Covenant Chapel.
The midweek services take place as follows:
- Every Wednesday at Yaba Centre located at 400, Herbert Macaulay Way, Yaba, Lagos
- Lekki Chapel by 6:30 pm every Thursday
ENTERPRISE BY HIM
- The Platform Nigeria: it can be said it is an arm of his ministry. The platform is where iconic businessmen and women share how Biblical principles have make them successful in business.
- Insights for Living: it is a programme he hosts regularly on television and it shows on the following media platforms:
- Silverbird Television: Monday – Friday (6:30 am – 7:00 am) and Sundays by 7:00:am
- Channels Television Sundays on Thursday (4:30 pm – 5:00 pm)
- Revelation Channel (UK) on Thursdays at 8:00 pm
- The Quantum Leap (TQL): it shows on Silverbird Television by 3:00 pm and Channels Television at 4:30 pm every Sunday.

He got married to Toyin Fajuyigbe on February 7th, 2015. The wife is a media personality.
