Frank Edwards Biography, Music Career & Lessons From His Life
Frank Edwards Biography
Frank Ugochuckwu Edwards also known as Frank Richboy, was born on July 22, 1989. He is an Igbo Nigerian contemporary singer, songwriter, and recording artist that has risen to prominence over the years with his style of music. He is the founder and owner of the record label Rocktown Records, the home to recording artistes such as Frank Edwards, Gil, Dudu, David, Divine and many more.
Born into a very humble family of seven, he grew up with five siblings. He is from Enugu state in South Eastern part of Nigeria. His talent started shining at a very young age 10 when he started singing and learned to play piano from his father at this young age. He also gave his life to Christ during his teenage years.
FRANK MUSICAL CAREER
He started singing at the age of 10, and it was no other place but his local church. Coupled with his keyboard skills, he started ministering outside his church and at the biggest stages across the country.
His rise to prominence can be attributed to God strategically leading and placing him in the ministry of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Christ Embassy aka Believers LoveWorld Inc. It became a turning point in his life and career. Even though he had a different ambition while growing up, but it all changed when he started following the man of God.
While growing up, he has a dream of becoming a pilot, but while following the man of God, he loves the way Pastor Chris worships and that inspired him to go after music as a career. He later joined the LoveWorld Records and that gave him the avenue to share the stage with iconic music artistes such as Sinach, Samsong, Joe Praize and so on.
Joining the ministry was not only enough, but he also located where he could function well for God. He joined the church music team, of which he was not lacking both in singing and playing of musical instruments.
He became one of the Presidential band of Pastor Chris and later became his personal keyboardist.
When he released his first album in 2008, it was totally autonomous of the LoveWorld Records. But when the President, Pastor Chris listened to the song, he carried the burden of promoting the song.
And the first step of promoting was within his congregation while urging them to get the CD. He also gave him the opportunity to perform live in the church programme and it makes the first time Frank Edwards will be standing before a crowd.

LESSONS FROM HIS LIFE
Who could say a boy from a humble family can rise to this horizon? Who could ever think he had once hawked things on the highway?
He came from a very humble family and hawked goods on the highway but he knew he was more than that. He saw the greatness in his mind before he could handle it. You must see the greatness in you before you can handle it.
Frank’s life is testamental of how God deals with men. Just like Isacc could not sow in any other land except in that land, Frank was able to locate the right place for what is inside him to find expression. You too must locate where you are meant to be and trust God for Grace.
