NATHANIEL BASSEY BIOGRAPHY

Nathaniel Bassey is a gospel minister, music artist, songwriter, and also producer. He is also an instrumentalist. Nathaniel Bassey is a youth pastor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). He is also the host of the known Halleluyah Challenge that is followed by many Christian worldwide.

BACKGROUND

Nathaniel was born on the 27th of August 1981 to the family of Mr. & Mrs. Bassey in Lagos State. He is a native of Ikot Ofon Ikono, Akwa Ibom, Nigeria. Mr. Joshua Bassey, Nathaniel Bassey’s father was a pastor of the Apostolic Church, Bashua Assembly.

NATHANIEL BASSEY EDUCATION

He had his primary and secondary education in Lagos where his parents lived. He started his undergraduate studies at the University of Lagos (Unilag), studying Urban and Regional Planning. He only studied for 2years when he gained admission to the University of London to study Politics and International Relations.

After that, he went on to Middlesex University Summer School where he took music courses.

MUSIC MINISTRY

He started his music ministry in 1993. Nathaniel Bassey grew up showing interests in instrumentals, highlife, Jazz, etc.

Growing up, he wanted to be a great Jazz musician and as a result of that, he went around playing Jazz with his trumpet at parties and clubs until he met Jesus.

After he got born again, he stopped his obsession for music and he started obsessing about knowing God and the music he now delivers is a platform to show forth God’s love.
