PASTOR SAM ADEYEMI BIOGRAPHY

Samuel Adesanya Adeyemi is the senior pastor and founder of Daystar Christian Centre, Lagos, Nigeria. He is an excellent speaker and author.

EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND

Sam Adeyemi was born on February 3, 1967, in Ndayako near Mokwa, Niger State, Nigeria. He spent his early life at the place before leaving and he is the senior brother to Victor Adeyemi who is also a pastor. He is from Odo-Ere, Yagba, Kogi State, Nigeria.

He studied Civil Engineering and obtained Higher National Diploma (HND) from the Kwara State Polytechnic.

In 2008, Sam went to the University of Exeter to study Leadership studies and finished in 2011 with an MSc. Degree. He proceeded to Regent University, Virginia, USA to get a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership in 2017.

MINISTRY

He began his Pastorate ministry at Rhema Chapel together with his younger brother. He was a Director of Pastoral Care and Minister in Charge at Rhema and was later transferred to a branch in Lagos.

DAYSTAR CHRISTIAN CENTRE

After getting to Lagos, he noticed his ministry was not moving forward. In April 1994, he went on a retreat together with his wife to seek the face of the Lord and in July 1994, he received a clear instruction from God on what to do as regards his ministry.

According to him, God told him it was time to move to the next phase of ministry. That he will be a teacher of success principles through Biblical truth. He was mandated to reach the people through any platform available such as radio, television, tapes and so on. He received the Mandate for Success Power International and Daystar Christian Center at the same time.

He started by teaching on radio and eventually established the Daystar Christian Centre on November 18th, 1995.

SUCCESS POWER INTERNATIONAL

He started Success Power International in the year 1995. He started because of the mandate he received and also his passion for helping people realize their potentials and life purpose. He imparts people through the programme on how to discover, develop, and accomplish their God’s given potentials.

The goal of the programme is to see people perform excellently in their endeavours by equipping them with the necessary tools to win in life. It reaches out to people through telecast, radio broadcast, seminars, audio and books.

DAYSTAR LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

Sam Adeyemi started the Daystar Leadership Academy in January 2002. It is with a vision to raise extraordinary leaders and managers that would make significant changes in the ever-changing world.

They offer the following courses:
