SONNIE BADU BIOGRAOPHY
Sonnie Badu is a contemporary Ghanaian Gospel music artist, producer, author, and the founder and senior pastor of Rockhill Church, Atlanta, Georgia.
EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND
He was born on the 9th of November into the family of Prempeh and Julia Agyemang, in the United Kingdom. Sonnie Badu spent his early years in the city of Accra, Ghana. He grew up in a strict Christian home and his father was a pastor.
MUSIC MINISTRY
He started music professionally on the 1st of December, 2007. Sonnie Badu came to the limelight with his first album titled “Lost In Glory”. It was a song that was well-received by all.
Sonnie has been present at various African Worship Events and Charity concerts all across the globe ever since he came to the limelight.
He was there for the victims of violence that happened in Kenya. He has also carried the message of the Gospel to continents across the globe.
Sonnie has three albums to his name and has performed alongside many Gospel artists. He received an honorary degree from the CICA International University and Seminary (Doctorate of Divinity).
He was a UN ambassador of Sacred Music and holds the keys to many cities such as Brooklyn and many others.
