STEVE CROWN BIOGRAPHY
Uche Okolo popularly known as Steve Crown is a Nigerian Gospel music minister and songwriter. He is the founder of Lakelight Entertainment – a record label helping young and upcoming gospel singers.
EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND
Steve Crown was born on September 27th into a family of six and he hails from Benue State, Nigeria. He resides in Abuja.
He studied Office Management and Technology from the Federal Polytechnic, Zamfara. He also attended the University of Abuja.
MINISTRY
Steve Crown developed an interest in music at the age of four. And by the time he was eight, he joined Saint John’s Anglican Church Choir. He later joined a well-known group called Deacon Kids Band.
His songs are powerful and anointed and he has been blessing souls with the message he carries. He founded Lakelight Entertainment to help young and aspiring gospel singers to discover and nurture their talents.
He shared how his famous song came about with the Daily Sun information.
“Sometimes, I sit and ask myself questions. I keep trying to find the right answers to them. I ask myself questions on the existence of man. I ask myself how creation, sun, birds, and sea came about. Everything is just perfect. Time and season come and go without failing. I have asked myself questions about miracles. You see someone who had a problem and the problem was solved, just because he called upon Jesus.” Steve
“I wondered about all these mysteries. But the one that makes me wonder the most is God, who created heaven and earth, can we tell who created Him? Okay, that question can run anybody mad. So, for me, I felt that God who we can’t tell who created must be feared. He is just way too much for us to comprehend, and that is how You Are Great came about.
