TODD DULANEY BIOGRAPHY
Todd Anthony Dulaney is an American Gospel artist and songwriter. He is a former baseball player and started his music career in the year 2011 with the release of the CD version titled “Pulling Me Through”. In 2016, he released another album titled “A Worshipper’s Heart” via Entertainment One Nashville and it was placed higher on the Gospel Albums Chart.
EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND
He was born on the 20th of December, 1983 in Maywood, Illinois to the Thomas and Tommye Dulaney family. Todd was a baseball player as a youth where he played at a local community college, Wabash Valley College, and also got in the New York Mets in the 2012 MLB June Amateur Drafts as a 32nd round selection.
Todd Dulaney retired from the sport after playing the minor leagues in the 2005 season when he realized the call of God to play gospel music and he was under the guidance of Smokie Norful who asked him to tour with him.
MUSIC MINISTRY
He started his music career in 2011 with the CD version titled “Pulling Me Through” which was released on May 31, 2011. The song marked the breakthrough for him in the gospel music industry as it was charted on Billboard Gospel Albums chart on No. 43.
“Pulling Me Through” was his second album and it was released via GoldStreet Gospel Records on the 22nd of January, 2013. The album was placed on No. 23 on the Billboard Gospel Albums Chart as it was released digitally alongside extended content.
In 2016, he released “A Worshipper’s Heart” with Entertainment One Music and it was at No. 1 on the Gospel Albums chart, No. 150 on The Billboard 200, and No. 13 on the Independent Albums chart.
He released the live album “Anthems & Glory” with Entertainment One Music on the 11th of June 2021. Todd received his fifth Gospel Airplay No. 1 with “Revelation 4” on the list dated September 25, 2021.
