Transformation Today A Daily Devotional With Victor Adeyemi
Topic: Divine Health
“But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities…” Isaiah 53:5
Sickness is not the will of God for His children. He wants us well; living as children of the king in good health and wholeness. Isaiah 53:5 tells us that the chastisement (punishment) necessary to bring us this wholeness was laid upon Jesus and by the stripes He suffered we have been made whole.
This means that though sin brought sickness, Jesus died to take away sickness. Therefore, as a new creation in Christ Jesus, wholeness and good health is your portion, not sickness which is a curse of sin.
Kenneth E. Hagin of blessed memory lived the first 17 years of his life with a deformed heart and an incurable blood disease. There was nothing medical science could do for him and he would have died but for the truth, he saw in God’s word. He learned to apply these principles and went on to live till a ripe old age.
You too should walk in the truth that wholeness and good health are yours as a new creation in Christ Jesus.
Confession: Thank You, Jesus, for bearing my sickness on your body on the cross. I declare that by Your stripes I am healed and made whole!
