Victoria Orenze, a seasoned gospel performer, has responded to the growing controversy surrounding GloRilla’s BET Awards victory.
Victoria Orenze wants to know why Christians are upset that GloRilla, a mainstream musician, won the BET Awards for Best Gospel Category.
According to Victoria Orenze, she believes that BET is not the standard for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and can grant an award to anybody it thinks fit.
According to her post on Instagram, she said “Dear Believers, why are we expecting BET awards to follow the standard of The Scripture(BIBLE) when they are not governed or led by The Scripture(BIBLE).
“Unbelievers CANNOT define THE GOSPEL. Just thinking. Some people will come now with some defence of don’t judge that does not add up. Just saying.
“Listen to me or not, like me or not, like how I said it or not, agree with me or not, I am not your enemy, I am your FRIEND”.
Additionally, Victoria Orenze has advised Christians to ignore BET and concentrate on their task.
