Biography of Andy Savage
Andy Savage is an American pastor and author. He is a native of Memphian and a graduate of Houston High School where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Memphis. He also obtained a Master’s Degree in Christian Studies from Union University.
He started out his life in Ministry immediately after his freshman year of college. Andy served as a Youth Pastor at the StoneBridge Church in The Woodlands, Texas. Also, locally he was the Pastor of College students and Young Singles at Germantown Baptist Church.
Andy started Metro Bible Study in 2000 – a known gathering of young singles across the Mid-South. He thereafter teamed up with Chris Conlee in 2002 to help start a new and dynamic gathering of believers in the middle of Memphis– Highpoint Church.
He is an excellent international speaker, author of many books, and the host of the Andy Savage Radio Show & podcast.
His personal mission statement is “Making God make sense, starting at home then everywhere else.” He always makes sure he communicates God’s truth in a creative way that connects with people everywhere. He does this whether teaching, writing, or coaching. He preaches every Sunday at one of the church’s two campuses (Highpoint Church) and he is the point man for marriage, parenting, and family life ministry.
Andy Savage is married to Amanda and the couple is blessed with five children – Drew, Cooper, Wesley, Ford, and Joshua.
He is also actively involved in local organizations that aid special needs and positive family values.
