Early Life
Bishop David Olatunji Abioye is a well-known member of the Nigerian Christian community. He was born on March 11, 1961, in Erin Ile, Oyun Local Government Area, Kwara State, Nigeria. He grew up in a pious Christian home and had a strong religious conviction from an early age.
Abioye attended the University of Ilorin to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering after finishing his secondary schooling. Although his academic path prepared him for a prosperous engineering career, his life’s purpose would eventually be shaped by his spiritual calling.
Ministry
In 1985, while Abioye was a lecturer at Auchi’s Open Cast Polytechnic, her life took a surprising turn. He became spiritually inspired after a fortuitous meeting with David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide. Abioye’s heart was pulled to the ministry by Oyedepo’s fervor and unshakable faith.
Abioye became a key player in the development and growth of Living Faith Church Worldwide as a result of his commitment to the gospel. He was the Senior Pastor of the Living Faith Church in Goshen City, Abuja, which has more than 30,000 members. Numerous people’s lives have been impacted by his stirring sermons and unshakable faith.
