Pastor Jerry Eze Biography – Pastor Jerry Uchechukwu Eze is a Nigerian Gospel Preacher and digital evangelist. Eze was born on the 22nd of August 1982. He is the founder and senior pastor of Streams of Joy International and the daily host of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration (NSPPD) – a daily online prayer meeting from the hour of 7-8 am.
EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND
Jerry Eze was born in Umuahia the state capital of Abia State, Nigeria. Though he hails from Okoko Item, Bende Local Government Area, Jerry Eze grew up in Umuahia. He attended his high school at Ibeku High School, Umuahia, Abia State from 1991 to 1997.
He graduated from Abia State University where he had his Bachelor’s Degree in History and International Relations. Eze attended ESUT for his postgraduate certification in Business Administration.
His life of faith started with his mother. He was raised by a Christian mother that taught him godly values. She introduced Jesus to him at an early stage and he continued in the journey even after he grew up.
He worked with the World Bank project for HIV/AIDS and United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) as a Communication Specialist.
MINISTRY
Pastor Jerry Eze is the Senior Pastor of Streams of Joy International. Jerry Eze started the ministry in the year 2009 at All Saints Chapel, and by 2011, he founded Stream of Joy International Church in Abia State, Nigeria and presently presides over more than 5,000 worshipers in various branches. The church has more than 13 branches across Canada, Nigeria, the USA, and the UK.
In 2011, Pastor Jerry was led to start the Streams of Joy Devotional and it has reached up to 5 continents and the testimonies have been mind-blowing.
His ministry is focused on revival, and healing, and is well known for the tagline “What God Cannot do, does not exist”. He is dedicated to seeing people fulfill the will of God for their lives and not being tied down by sickness, demons, or any kind of hindrance.
When COVID-19 started and it was difficult for people to gather physically, Pastor Jerry Eze started an online session called “The New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD)” that is on Youtube and other media channels. The season of COVID birthed this but it has grown to become the largest online prayer session. The session attracts millions of active participants daily.
The church holds 6 services every Sunday at the headquarter stationed at km 4 Ikot-Ekpene road Umuahia, Abia State.
