The Voice of Evangelism Outreach Ministries (VOE) was founded by American preacher and author Perry Fred Stone Jr., who was born on June 23, 1959. With his television show, “Manna-Fest with Perry Stone,” and his several ministries, Stone, who is based in Cleveland, Tennessee, has amassed a big fan base.
Early Life
On June 23, 1959, Stone was born in Parsons, West Virginia. His siblings are three.
At Covenant Life Christian College in Rocky Top, Tennessee, Stone earned a B.A. in theology after attending Lee University.
Ministry
Stone acknowledges Pentecostal priest T.L. Lowery with having a significant impact on his spiritual development, and he began his ministry at the age of 16. Stone’s early conception of ministry and evangelism was influenced by Lowery’s leadership in the Church of God congregations in Cleveland, Tennessee, and Washington, D.C.
VOE Ministry
Since its founding in 1985, VOE has expanded to include the International School of the Word, The Ramp@OCI Church, and the Omega Center International (OCI) Conference Center. Since 2000, Stone’s Biblical prophecy-focused television show “Manna-Fest with Perry Stone” has been shown on the Trinity Broadcasting Network.
Theology
According to Stone, receiving Communion on a daily basis can result in spiritual, physical, and emotional healing.
Stone has stated that he has had prophetic visions over the years regarding major events like the murder of Osama Bin Laden, the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center, and the election of George W. Bush as president. The idea that the Cherokee people have a distinct spiritual ancestry connected to the Lost Tribes of Israel is another notion that Stone has taught and validated.
