Mike Abdul is a Nigerian Gospel music minister, music producer, and songwriter. He previously worked with Spaghetti Records and act as an executive officer for Midnight Crew Music Limited. He is a well-known artist in the Nigerian Gospel music industry.
EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND
Mike Abdul was born on February 12, 1977, in Lagos State, Nigeria. He has a background in both Lagos and Ogun State. Mike’s parents grew up in the Ijebu dynasty. The father grew in Ago-Iwoye and the mother in Ijebu-Oru.
He had his elementary education at A-Z International Nursery and Primary School and later went to Mayflower School Ikenne. He proceeded to Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, Nigeria to study Electrical Engineering.
After that, he went to Faith Christian Theological Seminary, Theology and Christian Education, Sango Otta, Ogun State.
MINISTRY
Mike Abdul developed an interest in music professionally when the Midnight Crew started on the 8th of November, 2001.
He broke into the limelight after he released albums such as “Good 2 Go”, “Korede”, and “Grateful”.
Mike Abdul is one of the famous Gospel music ministers. He has been ranked on the list of the renowned people born on February 12. In terms of wealth and riches, he is one of the richest Gospel music ministers in Nigeria. He has won several awards such as the City People Music Award for Gospel Artist of the Year (2018). He has worked with the Spaghetti Records label.
Mike Abdul has become one of the celebrated Gospel artists in Nigeria and beyond. He has worked with many Nigerian Gospel and Secular artists and also producers such as Wole Oni, Mr. Daz, Shey Man, Rotimi Akinfenwa, Helen Paul, Tim Godfrey, Dekun Fuji, MoniQue, Tope Alabi, and many others. And he holds the record for the most featured Nigerian Gospel artist.
