Our salvation is ours because we trust or believe in God (Ephesians 2:8–9). We look to God for wisdom (James 1:5). God has given us doctors and medicines for the restoration of our health. He has given us the intelligence to drive. We can still trust in God when we go to the doctor because we know that God is ultimately in charge of all healing. We can still trust in God when we drive because we know that God is ultimately in charge of all safety.
We always depend on God and there are times where there’s nothing more we can do. The Lord gives us the faith to get through those situations. There was no changing the king’s will, and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego could not cool the burning furnace. All they knew was that they could not bow to a false god. They were cast into the fire and the results were left solely to God (Daniel 3:1-30).
