Everything that is born of God triumphs over the world, and our faith is one such victory. What triumphs over the world is our faith. To overcome is to triumph over adversity—be it physical or spiritual—to win a fight or conflict, to pass over. A few facts concerning Christians’ faith were stated: Christians will endure difficulties, and each obstacle serves to deepen our faith.
They are supposed to strengthen us rather than weaken us. We’ll be prosecuted and put on trial. The devil will try to stop us, but we must have faith to prevail. We have to pay a price for excellence. This sermon is something you should hear.
