Following reports that fellow gospel preacher Ebuka Songs blocked and unfollowed Nigerian gospel singer Testimony Jaga on social media, Jaga has apologized.
As you may remember, Testimony Jaga responded negatively to Ebuka Songs’ response to Rev. Kesiena Esiri’s reprimand of him after his video with Peller went viral.
Fans were immediately drawn to the development, which raised questions about a potential conflict between the two gospel performers.
Online comments indicate that a lot of people were taken aback by the decision, considering the two’s previous friendship in the gospel music scene.
Testimony Jaga apologized on his social media accounts for any remarks or acts that may have upset Ebuka Songs. He urged gospel ministers to be peaceful, united, and respectful of one another.
“I apologize to my brother, Ebuka Songs, and to anyone who may have been hurt by this situation. We are all one body in Christ, and I pray for reconciliation and understanding,” Jaga stated.
