Books on Christian Lifestyle

Here is a list of some of the best books on Christian Lifestyle we could find. One of the most important things about the Christian life is the understanding that it is a life-time journey. It starts when we are saved by Jesus Christ, but it doesn’t end there. That’s just the start. A wise Christian will view their relationship with Jesus the Lord as a journey, one day at a time.

Many Christians do not fulfill the demands of endurance and perseverance (Hebrews 10:36), and in the end, turn away from the message of truth (Hebrews 2:1). If discipleship is to be more than a passing emotional experience, it must follow salvation. Don’t let it happen to you. Don’t let it happen to you. Understand that your relationship with God will need a lot of intentionality.

Jesus told us that He would be with us through the tough times, but He never said it was going to be easy. His burden is light, His yoke easy (Matthew 11:30). The path is narrow (Matthew 7:13-14). The message is for all to hear (John 3:16-17), but only those who do the will of the Father in heaven (Matthew 7:21-23) shall receive eternal life.

The great preacher D. L. Moody said that the secret of a successful Christian life is to understand that Christians must live in harmony with the guidance of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:25). As Christians, we find that the Holy Spirit is guiding us nearly every day (Romans 8:14). Basically, every decision we make is guided by the Holy Spirit to be on the road that God intended us to be on. We check our decisions by following His guidance through prayer and word study.

When we obey him, our way of life becomes more and more true to God’s purpose. Sometimes the Holy Spirit gives us joy and peace. When we ignore His guidance and stray, the Holy Spirit convicts us and leads us back to the right path. We stray away, then come back to God, confess our sins and He redeems us.

This is the work of the Holy Ghost in us. But that doesn’t mean that we don’t contribute to a real walk with Jesus because of the work of the Holy Spirit in us. Our job is to obey, and to order our lives around God, the practice of fellowship with Christians, and other instructions from God’s word for how to live a triumphant Christian life. The Spirit will lead our lives.

One of the best ways to get your life organized is to make a detailed calendar for each week. Be sure to go to local church services at least once a week. Why is that? This provides you with spiritual vitality for the weeks ahead and keeps you connected to the gospel message. Because of this , God commands his people to gather for worship ( Hebrews 10:25 ) .

Second, make sure you are involved in a weekly small group or Bible study (2 Timothy 3:16, John 8:31). As someone who is Christian, I humbly believe weekly bible studies and worship are the bare minimum. Some churchgoers may only rarely attend Sunday sessions and do not regularly attend Bible study. Don’t copy what they do! Find people in your church who really want to practice the Christian religion. Then get together with them. Encourage each other to engage in deeper practices such as lectio divina, earnest prayer, fasting, the mutual confession of sins, community evangelization, and personal discipleship.
