Pastor Laju Iren, who was born on August 26th, identifies herself as a storyteller for the Lord. She is a book-writing coach, movie producer, director, writer, and gospel preacher.

As a child, Pastor Laju went to the Federal Government Girls College in Benin, graduating in 2007. She then continued to the esteemed Covenant University in Ota, Nigeria, where between 2007 and 2011, she earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in mass communication.

Pastor Laju Iren eventually left her position as a journalist for a prestigious Nigerian daily to pursue her career as a full-time writer and speaker. Since then, she has addressed thousands of men and women across the nation, written five books, established herself as a best-selling author, and mentored hundreds of writers thanks to the knowledge she gained from her Mass Communication bachelor’s degree from Covenant University and her master’s degree from the University of Lagos.

She has served thousands of men and women as a minister and still works in the ministry alongside her spouse, Celebration Church International’s Lead Pastor. As a pastor, she is devoted to helping people discover life’s purpose that is centered on Christ. She delivers sermons that are accurate, concise, and accompanied by evidence.

Pastor Laju Iren, affectionately known as “The Lord’s Storyteller,” is the author of Dating Intelligibly, a practical guide to courtship. She is deeply committed to assisting singles in making the most of their single status and selecting healthy relationships. In addition, she wrote the highly regarded book Selfies With Bible Girls, which recounts the tales of over twenty-two biblical female figures and the teachings that still apply today. Girl-Cyclopaedia, her first book, is an encyclopedia of questions posed by young women and the necessary responses. Her most recent Christian novels, Loving Amanda and Finding Miriam, have received great praise for being literary masterpieces that captivate readers with their compelling messages of God’s love and relationship-building purpose. Her most recent work, Mirror, Mirror, encourages women to view themselves as the All-seeing one does.

Laju is a filmmaker as well. Her first film, Love is a Star, which she wrote, produced, and directed, received over 14,000 views in just one week on her YouTube channel, Laju Iren. In addition, she recently wrote, produced, and directed the video During Ever After, which broke the record set by its predecessor by receiving over 14,000 views in just the first three days of release.

She is the creator of Africa’s top award for stories with a Christian theme, the Christian Story Teller Prize.

Laju Iren lives a purposeful life, working with her husband and closest friend, Pst Emmanuel Iren, to raise her two daughters. Through her YouTube channel, Laju Iren, Instagram page, and blog, lajuiren.com, she has a combined audience of over 60,000 people.
