Olubukunola Bekes popularly known as Bukola Bekes is a Nigerian Gospel music minister and songwriter.
EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND
Bukola Bekes was born on the 10th of September 1980 into a family of six (6) children in Lagos State, Nigeria. She grew up in Idi-Oro, Mushin, Lagos.
MINISTRY
She entered music at a very young age and became a Chori leader as a teenager. She was born into a musical family so her talent could not be hidden. Bukola has led the Choir of the Redeemed Christian Church of God at programmes and has become a major figure for composing for choir, especially for the religious services, conventions, and others.
Bukola Bekes is known for her uniqueness and is presently one of the worship leaders at RCCG City of David Parish, Lagos Province 4.
Presently, she is still part of the Choir she joined when she was at a young age – the Redeemed Christian Church of God Mass Choir. She ministers during the Holy Ghost Service that holds monthly and also at the Festival of Life, London’s Excel Centre, UK – one of the biggest events in the world.
She has ministered in various concerts and events both in the country and outside of it. She has performed alongside the big names in the Gospel music industry such as Kirk Franklin, Sammy Okposo, Mike Aremu, Ron Kenoly, and many others.
Bukola Bekes has a band to her name “Olubukunola Bekes and The Paradise Minstrel”. The band has performed in many places in Africa and beyond.
She is sometimes called “Olorikokoro” meaning “Master Key”. The name came about when she composed and led the Choir for the Holy Ghost Congress held in 2005 tagged “The Master Key”.
She has released three powerful albums namely; “I Am Tired Of The Valley”, “Ariwo Ayo”, and “Mighty God”.

Bukola Bekes got married in 2006 to Damilola Bekes and they are blessed with children. Damilola Bekes is a music producer and instrumentalist. Instruments like Saxophone and piano are what he plays and his music albums are mostly in a Jazz style. They have both ministered together on many occasions and also separately in some instances.
